This Privacy Policy explains how Ariema Games handles information through the Ariema Games website and Ariema Sudoku.

Website

Our website does not intentionally use advertising or analytics tracking scripts. The website is hosted using Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process technical information such as IP addresses, request metadata and security information to deliver, secure and operate the website.

If you contact us by email, we process your email address, message and any information you choose to include so that we can respond to your enquiry. Email routing is provided through Cloudflare Email Routing and messages are received using Gmail. We do not use contact messages for advertising or marketing without a separate lawful basis or permission.

Ariema Sudoku

Ariema Sudoku does not require you to create an account.

Advertising

Ariema Sudoku uses Google AdMob to provide interstitial ads and optional rewarded ads. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share information including IP address (which may be used to estimate approximate location), app interactions, diagnostic information, and device or other identifiers. Google states that these data types may be used for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention, security and compliance. Data transmitted by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit.

Where required, advertising privacy choices and consent are managed through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). The advertising experience may vary depending on your region, consent choices and device settings.

Optional analytics

Ariema Sudoku uses Google Analytics for Firebase. Analytics collection is optional in the game and is off by default. If you enable analytics in Settings, the game may send app and session information, device information, approximate geographic information, an app-instance identifier and gameplay events such as puzzle starts, completions, modes, difficulty, hints, tutorial progress and selected monetization interactions. Analytics consent is separate from advertising consent, and you can play without enabling optional analytics.

Game progress and settings

Game progress, preferences and gameplay settings may be stored locally on your device so the game can save your progress and remember your choices. Ariema Games does not require an Ariema Games account for this purpose.

Purchases

If purchases are offered in Ariema Sudoku, they are processed through Google Play. Ariema Games does not receive or store your full payment-card details. Google Play may process purchase and payment information according to Google's own terms and privacy practices.

Children

Ariema Sudoku is intended for users aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. Local laws may provide additional protections or consent requirements for minors.

Why information is processed

Information may be processed as necessary to operate and secure the website and game, respond to enquiries, provide advertising, measure performance, understand optional analytics when enabled, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with applicable legal obligations. Where consent is required, processing based on that consent is performed according to the choices available to you.

Data sharing and service providers

We use service providers to operate the website and game, including Cloudflare for website hosting and email routing, Google for Gmail and Google Play services, Google Analytics for Firebase for optional analytics, and Google AdMob and UMP for advertising and privacy choices. These providers may process information according to their own privacy terms and our configuration of their services.

Retention

We retain information we directly control only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including responding to enquiries, maintaining security and meeting legal obligations. Information processed by third-party providers is retained according to their applicable settings, policies and legal requirements.

Your choices and rights

You can keep optional Firebase Analytics disabled or change the analytics setting in the game. Where available, you can review or change advertising privacy choices through the privacy options provided in the game. Android also provides controls for advertising identifiers and privacy settings.

Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may give you rights regarding personal data, such as access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or withdrawal of consent. To make a privacy request concerning information controlled by Ariema Games, contact privacy@ariemagames.com. You may also have the right to complain to the relevant data-protection authority.

International processing

We may update this Privacy Policy when the game, website, service providers or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when a revised policy is published.
